We believe that all humanity is born in sin as a result of the sin of Adam in the beginning (Romans 5:12). Because of this, mankind was in need of a savior, or redeemer. Because there was no man without sin to redeem us or make atonement for our sin, the blood of animals could not take away sin (Hebrews 10:4), and God was the only sinless source, God, the invisible Spirit (John 4:24), provided Himself a body. That body is the man Jesus Christ who is THE person of God (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus, the only sinless man, was crucified and became the sacrifice and redemption for all mankind (Romans 5:19). We believe we are saved from sin, not simply because He died, was buried, and rose again -- but by obeying the message of the Apostle Peter as found in Acts 2:38, where he commanded us to repent (death to sin), be baptized in Jesus' Name (burial - Romans 6:4), and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (resurrection - Romans 6:4). By receiving the Holy Ghost, or Spirit of Christ, it becomes "Christ in us" the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), and if the Spirit of Christ dwells in us, we shall be caught up to meet Him in the air at His return for His church (Romans 8:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

By receiving this experience and living a life separated from the world unto God (2 Corinthians 6:17), we are preparing ourselves for that glorious day when He that shall come, will come and will not tarry (Hebrews 10:37). Our goal is to spend eternity with He who died for us in His kingdom.
